What the noise may mean
- Squeaking or squealing: dry rollers, hinges, or springs.

Simple things you can do
- Look and listen while the door runs, from a safe spot out of its path.
- Tighten loose hinge and track-bracket bolts you can reach from the floor. Don't touch the bottom brackets, cables, or springs.

- Clean the tracks of dirt and grit. Don't grease the inside of the tracks.
